Hello readers! It's Audrey and I'm here to tell you all about a new collection of books that I'm super duper excited about. Remember the Baby Lit Book Collection of primers I told you about a long time ago? Well, over the years me and my brother's collection has gotten pretty big (thanks mom) and we love them! We have everything from Little Woman to the Odyssey and now that I'm older I get to help read them to my brother. The other day an Amazon box arrived at the house and I knew since it was my Mom who ordered it that it was either books or diapers. Since it didn't look like diapers I guessed books and I was right!
My mom had ordered us a copy of Pride and Prejudice, one of two books available from the new Baby Lit Storybook Collection. It is beautiful! Its bigger than my other board books but still has the classic Baby Lit style! Here's the best part though, it's the whole story! I'll let my mom tell you more about that part.
Hi there everyone, so it's no secret we are a hard core Baby Lit family over here. We are only a few titles away from owning every single board book and now that the Storybook Collection has been released I'm going to need more book shelves for the kids room. These beautiful books boast a hardcover and cardboard pages like the original board books but instead of using the classics to teach our littles numbers and colors these are the original story! Naturally, I purchased Pride and Prejudice and was so pleased as I read this version of one of my favorite classics. Adapted to suite ages 3-5 (according to the publishers) these are the perfect stepping stone from the original primers to introduce the classics. My favorite feature? They included direct quotes from the original, and while Audrey's heart might not skip a beat yet when she reads "You must allow me to tell you how ardently I adore and love you." I think it's a fantastic addition and a another home run for the team over at Baby Lit. Audrey, would you like to wrap us up?
Thanks Mom! So I asked my Mom to buy us all the storybooks they had but sadly she said that only two are out, Pride and Prejudice and Moby Dick. She did say that on March 20th the Secret Garden and The Jungle Book will be out. We have already marked the calendar! If you have kids at home they are going to want these books, so click our affiliate link below (I have no idea what an affiliate link is, mom asked me to add it) and order or pre order one today!
