*Treasuring Christ When Your Hands are Full by Gloria Furman. Ashley’s book of the year, short, encouraging and perspective shifting in all the best ways.
*Glory in the Ordinary: Why Your Work at Home Matters to God by Courtney Reissig. Another short and encouraging book for moms, we loved it.
*Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss. A fiction fav, it holds up to reading again and again.
*Hind’s Feet on High Places: An Engaging Visual Journey by Hannah Hurnard. One of my (MaryAnne) favorites of last year, the classic story of Much Afraid enhanced by beautiful images and space to journal.
*The Annotated Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen & David Shepherd. The beloved novel now with historical contexts that explain rules of etiquette, language, and more. A must have for Jane Austen fans.
*NKJV Woman After God’ Own Heart Bible. Devotions from one of our favorite authors, Elizabeth George makes this a Bible on my personal wish list.
*CSB She Reads Truth Bible. We both are loving the CSB translation and Ashley has nothing but good thing to say about this Bible.
*God’s Wisdom for Navigating Life by Tim Keller. Insight on understanding and applying the book of Proverbs in a short devotion. You could go through this every year and learn something new.
*Valley of Vision: A Collection of Puritan Prayers by Arthur Bennet. I loved this book for helping me to articulate what was on my heart.
*One Year Wisdom for Women by Debbi Bryson. Focused on the proverb of the day from the One Year plan, Debbi’s insight is a home run every day.
